PLNU Athletics

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011)
Competed in five races for the Sea Lions…Had two top 25 finishes…Placed 23rd at the UCSD Opener and 25th at the Aztec Invitational…Posted scoring times for PLNU in four of the five races…Placed 38th at the GSAC Championships…Helped the Sea Lions finish fourth in the conference.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010)
Competed in six races for his first season at Point Loma earning his season best of 28:03 at the 8K Biola Invitational... second best time of 28:06, just three seconds longer, was earned at the Willamette Invitational... completed the GSAC Championship in 28:25.

PRIOR TO PLNU
Ran cross country three years and competed in track for four, six total varsity letters… coached by Nick Shea… was XC team MVP and earned track team leadership award… captain for both squads… best times were 16:41 in the 5K and 4:35 in the 1600 meter… also played basketball… graduated top-10 in his class and was a National Merit Scholar.

PERSONAL
Born November 26, 1991 in Fountain Valley, Calif… parents are Sam and Barbara, sister is Kelsey… came to PLNU for the major and because he likes the area… fan of the San Antonio Spurs and LA Angels… likes playing Frisbee and hanging out with friends… Broadcast journalism major who wants to go into sports broadcasting.
