PLNU Athletics

As a Junior (2011)
Started all 16 matches in participated in for Loma… finished the year with three shots, two of which were on goal… named to the All-GSAC team as a defender.

As a Sophomore (2010)
Started all of PLNU’s 16 contests, proving to be one of the team’s top defenders… took just two shots on the season… played 1366 minutes.

As a Freshman (2009)
Saw some action in first year with the team, getting into 14 contests and making eight starts… physical defender managed not to get carded all season… took one shot.

Prior to PLNU
Starred at both baseball and soccer at Torrey Pines HS… played four years of varsity soccer… earned first-team all-league honors three times… twice named defensive MVP… Two-time All-CIF North County… led team to CIF D1 championship… also played three years of varsity baseball and will play at PLNU.

Born September 14, 1990, in San Diego… son of Jim and Joyce… has an older sister Jessica who played field hockey at Miami (OH)… dad played golf and mom played field hockey in college… came to PLNU for sports and academics… favorite food is steak... favorite TV show is “Family Guy”… favorite soccer team is US National team… would most like to meet is Megan Fox… JJ is a Business Administration Marketing major.
