AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12):
Went 4-1 in singles play…All four wins came in straight sets…Won his first four singles matches of the season…Was 3-0 against GSAC opponents…Primarily played No. 5 singles…Went 5-4 in doubles play…Helped PLNU reach as high as No. 6 in the national rankings…The team was ranked in the top 10 all season.

PRIOR TO PLNU:
Competed one year at Grossmont College for Coach Strange... number 2 singles and number 1 and 2 doubles... ranked in the top 5 singles in conference and the top 3 doubles in conference... best match in college was against top ranked Sierra College player winning match 5-4... prepped at Steele Canyon High School under Coach Segawa... was on varsity tennis all four years... team won league three years in a row... won league as an individual three years in a row as well... second team All-CIF three times... first team all-league three times... team CIF runner up Senior year... four year varsity tennis letter winner... two year varsity basketball letter winner... starting point guard in basketball... league championship for basketball senior year scored 19 points with 11 assists... graduated high school with a 4.23 GPA.

PERSONAL:
Born on April 4, 1991, in San Diego... son to Mary and Kurt... enjoys playing the piano, golfing, surfing and playing video games... came to PLNU for the great community on campus and the great tennis program... Biology major, and hopes to become a marine biologist.
