PLNU Athletics

Was 9-14 overall in singles, playing on courts 4, 5 and 6… posted a 6-1 mark in doubles… solid 6-6 record in singles against GSAC opposition… swept aside Mobile’s Saulo Litterio in the first round of NAIA tournament action.

As a Sophomore (2008-09)

Saw plenty of time as a freshman at PLNU… was 7-14 in singles and a 3-5 in doubles… was primarily on court four in singles… at nationals topped Sam Perlmutter (Mobile) 6-0, 6-2 on court four.

Prior to PLNU

Limited time on the court at Redlands playing for Coach Geoff Roache… had a record of 1-0 in doubles and had the fastest serve on the team (123 MPH)…  No. 1 doubles player and occasionally the top singles player for Rancho Bernardo HS and Coach Mike Parinello… earned four varsity letters… best season was 9-1 in singles and 30-1 in doubles… was a semi-finalist at Ojai Tournament… on school honor roll.

Born July 14, 1989 in San Diego, CA… parents are Kevin and Michele, sister is Tiffany who swam for Tulane and Villanova… fan of the Chargers and running back LT… also follows Roger Federer… lists The Dark Knight and Crash as favorite movies and “Lost” and “24” as favorite TV shows… can play the guitar and likes to play video games… came to PLNU for the location and the tennis program…  Trent is a business major.
