Coach Grandi participated in the NAIA national track championships in the shot put in 2009 & 2010. He is currently the fourth place and for the foreseeable future best male shot putter in school history. During his four years as a student-athlete he threw the shot, discus, hammer and javelin. Coach Grandi was also a model student-athlete during his years 2007-2010 competing for the Sea Lions and was an integral part of the last men’s GSAC championship in 2010. Coach Grandi will work primarily with the Shot, Discus and Hammer throwers. This is the fourth season Grandi has served as an assistant with the track & field program.Â
