Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2012):
NAIA Scholar-Athlete…GSAC Scholar-Athlete…Placed seventh in the 5k at the GSAC Championships…Ran in seven meets for the Sea Lions.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2011):
GSAC and NAIA Scholar Athlete… best times 4:54.99 in the 1500 meter, 10:34.19 in the 3000 meter, 17:55.95 in the 5000 meter and 38:14.77 in the 10000 meter.
AS A FRESHMAN (2010):
Best times in first year on the track team were: 5:06.30 in the 1500, 10:45.54 in the 3000 and 17:57.94 (NAIA qualifying) in the 5000.
PRIOR TO PLNU:
Attended San Clemente High School… did not run cross country until her junior year… earned two varsity letters… helped the Tritons to a third place finish at the state meet… ran a 3-mile time of 18:38… also ran track.
PERSONAL:
Born in Mission Viejo, CA… daughter of Wayne and Lisa… has one sibling, Mekenna… came to PLNU because of her Christian faith, the location, academics and running… favorite foods are cereal and frozen yogurt… person she most admires is her grandpa… plays the piano and was in the Madrigal choir for three years… hobbies include hiking, singing, cooking and biking… Ashlee is majoring in Exercise Science.
