Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2012):
Member of the Sea Lions' 4x800m relay team that finished second at the GSAC Championships with a time of 9:47.05…Posted the best time for PLNU in the 800m during the year with a time of 2:20.38.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2011):
Bests were 2:21.98 in the 800 meters and 4:57.48 in the 1500 meters.
AS A FRESHMAN (2010):
All-GSAC in the 4x800 meter relay... best times on the season were: 2:16.51 in the 800 meter and 4:54.40 in the 1500.
PRIOR TO PLNU:
Ran four years on the varsity squad at King Kekaulike High School… won the 2008 Hawaii state championship in cross country… also won the state title in track in the 1500m (twice), the 800m (twice) and the 4x400m relay… was named Most Distinguished Female Athlete at her high school… named Maui Athlete of the Year… also competed in tennis and swimming.
PERSONAL:
Born in Maui, HI… daughter of Ben and Juliana… one brother, Ben… her father once won the state windsurfing championship… came to PLNU for the location, atmosphere and people… favorite foods are pasta and crepes… person she most admires is her brother… hobbies include singing, playing piano, writing music and making jewelry… Bailey is an Exercise Science major.
