PLNU Athletics

As a Junior (2010)
All-GSAC performer in the heptathlon... also a GSAC and NAIA Scholar Athlete... best times and marks were: 26.81 in the 200 meter, 2:33.76 in the 800, 71.45 in the 400 hurdles, 5-0.50 high jump, 17-1.25 long jump, 31-4 shot put, 101-4 javelin, and 4186 points in the heptathlon... All-GSAC and NAIA Scholar Athlete.

As a Sophomore (2009)
All-GSAC and NAIA All-American in the heptathlon... competed in many events... her bests were: 4428 points in the heptathlon, 5-25 in the high jump, 17-0 in the long jump... 31-4 in the shot put, 98-9 in the javelin, 13.10 in the 100 meter dash, 26.51 in th3 200 meter, 2:28.34 in the 800 meter, 15.04 in the 100 hurdles, 66.42 in the 400 hurdles... GSAC and NAIA Scholar Athlete.

As a Freshman (2008)
Competed in hurdles and the heptathlon during her first year at PLNU… best times are 100m (13.07), 800m (2:26.82), 400h (67.01), 200m (26.66), 100h (15.19)… received 4334 points in the heptathlon… best heights and distances were high jump (5-0.50), shot put (30-7.75), javelin (95-6) and long jump (16-6)… made all-GSAC for her scores in the heptathlon… made the PLNU all-time top-10 list for her scores in the heptathlon.

Prior to PLNU
Competed four years on varsity for the Eagles… coached by Kelly Holding… three times named Female Athlete of the State Meet… set IA state meet record and IA all-time record for 100m hurdles with 15.04… bests: high jump (5-4), long jump (17-4.25), 100h (15.04), 200m (26.41), 100m (12.74), 300h (47.0)… team won the state championship three times in a row… most exciting moment was running on Hayward Field at Univ. of Oregon with thousands of spectators… also played basketball and volleyball… was valedictorian.

Born November 4, 1988 to Kelly and Jim… sisters are Rebecca and Kristan… mom was an All-American high jumper and dad ran at Central Washington University… favorite food is grilled cheese… fan of the Blazers… favorite movie is Cool Runnings... hobbies are sports and shopping… major is journalism and professional goals include teaching English and coaching track.
