AS A JUNIOR (2012):
NAIA Scholar-Athlete…Ran in three meets…Set her personal records in the 1500m and 3k during the season…Set her PR in the 1500m at the PLNU Collegiate Open with a time of 5:30.93…Ran a time of 11:55.48 in the 3k at the Rossi Relays.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011):
Did not compete... but was a NAIA Scholar Athlete.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010):
Best times as a distance runner was 5:00.73 in the 1500, 10:50.67 in the 3000 and 38:48.64 in the 10,000.

PRIOR TO PLNU:
Ran four years of varsity cross country at Elk Grove High School… was named team MVP twice… qualified for the sectional meet three times… ran at the state meet in her senior season… finished 34th at the Illinois state championships… ran a 5k best of 18:39… led her school to its first sectional finals appearance in 11 years… was named Best Female Athlete at her high school… numerous academic honors… also ran track… broke the school record and qualified for state in the two-mile.

PERSONAL:
Born in Park Ridge, IL… daughter of Randy and Jill… has a sister, Christi… came to PLNU for the beautiful weather, great Christian community and academics… favorite foods are chocolate, cheese and cereal… favorite movie is Ratatouille… fan of the Chicago Bears… person she most admires is Deena Kastor… person she would most like to meet is Frank Lloyd Wright… hobbies include cooking, reading and swimming… Gina is majoring in Therapeutic and Community Psychology.
