Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2012):
NAIA Scholar-Athlete…GSAC Scholar-Athlete…Placed eighth in the triple jump at the GSAC Championships with a mark of 32-5 (9.88m)…Also competed in the long jump and the javelin throw at GSAC Championships.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2011):
Bests in the long jump was 16-6.50, 33-2.50 in the triple, 31-4.5 in the shot put, 55-0 in the discus, and 113-10 in the javelin.
AS A FRESHMAN (2010):
Best marks in first year: 31-7.50 in the shot put, 73-5 in the discus, 121-4 in the javelin, 68-4 in the hammer.
PRIOR TO PLNU:
Attended Faith Academy where she ran track for four years for Coach Wassel… awarded four varsity letters… events included jumps, shot put, sprints, and relay… best high school performance included a shot put school record as well as a 4X4 school record... also competed in basketball and volleyball.
PERSONAL:
Born in Santa Barbara, CA...Parents are Tom and Maddy... siblings are Bennett, Kelsey, Grady, Elias and Leila... many in her family competed in collegiate athletics... hobbies include cooking and reading... Tashia is a Psychology major.
