Richard Vasey joins the PLNU Women's Basketball coaching staff as Assistant Coach ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Vasey has over three decades of coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels, serving as SOU Assistant Coach for the last five seasons after spending more than two decades as girls' basketball head coach at St. Mary's High School in Medford, Oregon.

During Vasey's five seasons on staff at SOU with Kloppenburg-Pruitt, the Raiders reached the NAIA National Tournament every season, winning two Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season championships and three CCC Tournament titles.
That included in 2024-25 when Southern Oregon went 34-1 and reached the national quarterfinals.
