Brooner enters her first season on the PLNU Tennis coaching staff in 2023-24.
The San Diego native comes to The Point after a successful collegiate playing career that included stints at both Sonoma State and Azusa Pacific.
She attended Sonoma State from 2017-20 before transferring to APU, where she led the Cougars to back-to-back PacWest championships. That included in 2022, when her team reached the national quarterfinals.
At APU, she held an overall singles record of 23-10 and an overall doubles mark of 29-11.
Brooner graduated from APU in 2022 with a Bachelors in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Professions.
