PLNU Athletics

Bennett joined the Point Loma Athletic Staff in July of 2015 in the role of Administrative Assistant. She serves as the event planner for the Athletic Department as well as overseeing all aspects of the office. She also assists with donor relations and many other aspects of Point Loma Athletics.
 
Prior to coming to PLNU Bennett was the Sports Information Director at Linfield Christian School in Temecula, Calif. She also served two years as an assistant volleyball coach.
 
Bennett's played her college volleyball at The Master's College and earned four letters for the Mustangs. In high school at Linfield Christian, Bennett was a three-sport athlete (volleyball, basketball and track & field) and received numerous all-league honors. She was also named Linfield Christian's Sportswoman of the Year Award as a senior.
 
She received her degree in Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Injury in 2013. She also has a Postural Alignment Specialist certification, utilizing a hands-off approach to pain relief therapy.
 
Bennett is engaged to her fiancée Richard, and the couple plans to be married in November 2015.
