Diego Tavera prevailed in three sets in his singles match against Westmont last Saturday to the the No. 6-ranked Sea Lions a 5-4 win.
The sophomore from Morelia, Mexico, won the first set 7-6, lost the second 6-1 and pulled out a 7-5 win in the third.
