Nicole Eiler, a defensive specialist from Scottsdale, Ariz. (Saguaro HS), led Point Loma in digs in both matches over the week to help the Sea Lions close out their home schedule. She had 26 digs in the win over Holy Names on Wednesday, then backed it up with a 21-dig effort against Dominican on Saturday. Eiler now has 1,927 career digs, just 30 short of the school record. She will get a chance to break the record when the Sea Lions travel to undefeated Concordia on Tuesday, Nov. 13. Eiler ranks third in the PacWest with 5.26 digs per set.
