Maika Adair, a junior from San Diego, Calif. (Serra HS), helped the Point Loma women's tennis team go 2-1 on the week, including knocking off NCAA Division I opponent Villanova 8-1. Adair played No. 1 singles in all three matches and went 2-1, including a straight set victory over Mikelle Mancini of Villanova (6-4 and 6-2). Adair also teamed up with Kirsty Mountain at No. 3 doubles to go 3-0 on the week.
