PLNU Athletics

Jennifer Van Wey, a senior from Temecula, Calif. (Linfield Christian HS), won four events at the PLNU Collegiate Open. She edged Krystle Osby of Cal State San Marcos by .02 won the 100m with a season-best time of 12.31. She then posted a personal-record time of 25.50 en route to winning the 200m and moving to fifth on the Sea Lions' top 10 list. Van Wey also helped PLNU win both relays. She ran anchor leg on the 4x100m relay team and the second leg in the 4x400m as Point Loma won the events with times of 49.05 and 4:06.11, respectively.
