Preethika Venugopal closed out her home tennis schedule in style with a victory at the No. 3 spot over Nava Nowamooz of UC San Diego. The senior from Cerritos, Calif., jumped on Nowamooz 6-1 in the first set and then edged her in a tiebreaker, 7-6, in the second set to sweep the match. Venugopal was one of three Sea Lions to pick up singles victories.
