Nathan Bennett led PLNU to a 5-1 over Academy of Art to snap a three-game losing skid for the Sea Lions. Bennett went eight innings allowing just two hits and one runs while walking three and striking out five in just his third start of the season. The outing actually raised his earned run average to 1.02. He opened the season with 23 consecutive scoreless innings. He is just .2 innings away from qualifying to lead the PacWest in ERA.
