John Balliet recorded a multi-hit game in all four-game of the series against No. 20 California Baptist as the Sea Lions took three of four games in Riverside. He went 9-for-16 with two doubles, two home runs, three RBI and seven runs scored. He also earned two saves coming into the game with runners on both times. He pitched total of 1.1 innings, allowing just one hit and no runs, while walking none and striking out two. In the series opener, he hit a solo home run in the third and then came into the game with two runners on ninth and got both batters out for the save. The series win in Riverside was the Sea Lions' first in coach Schaefer's 11 years.
