WHAT'S HAPPENING:
Local rival and longtime Golden State Athletic Conference opponent San Diego Christian will come to Golden Gymnasium on Wednesday (Nov. 28) to take on the Point Loma men's basketball team at 7:00 p.m. This will be the Sea Lions' final non-conference game before beginning Pacific West Conference play on Saturday. Tickets are still available for the game at $7 for general admission and $5 for non-PLNU students and seniors.

Judson Richards, PLNU alum and co-host of XTRA's Charger Power Hour and The Drive, will call the action. Fourteen games are scheduled to be on the air.
A LOOK AT THE SEA LIONS:
Point Loma is 2-2 on the season and 1-1 at home. They recently defeat Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at the buzzer, 42-40, on a jumper by Weston Elhers. That shot capped off a late Sea Lions' comeback in which they were trailing by three points with just 45 seconds remaining.
Malcolm Collins tied the game on a put-back off a missed free throw with 42.9 seconds remaining. That basket capped off a productive game for Collins who scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds in just 12 minutes.
The Sea Lions have now held their opponents to under 60 points in all four games. PLNU's opponents are averaging just 50.5 points per game and shooting only 37 percent from the field, including 25 percent from behind the arc.
Arren Wells is averaging 7.3 points and 5.7 rebounds as a freshman to lead PLNU in both categories. Senior
Todd Campbell has done a bit of everything for Point Loma early in the season. He leads the team in assists (15), free throws (11) and total rebounds (18).
A LOOK AT SAN DIEGO CHRISTIAN:
The Hawks are 2-3 on the season and 1-1 on the road. Raphael Rodriguez leads the team with 15 points per game. He is shooting 52 percent from the field and 48 percent from 3-point range. He posted a season-high 20 points in a win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Kevin Dawson is leading the team with 6.4 rebounds per game while averaging 12 points. As a team SDC is shooting 46 percent from the field, including knocking down 43 percent of their shots from long range. Andy Saharan leads the team with 14 treys.
NEXT UP:
PLNU will welcome in Azusa Pacific on Saturday to begin the Sea Lions' first season in the PacWest. The game will follow the women's game and is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. tipoff.
Saturday's PLNU-APU game will also be a 'White-Out' game and tailgater. ASB will be holding the tailgate in the parking lot adjacent to Golden Gym prior to the men's game. The first 100 students will receive a free 'White-Out' t-shirt and a free Chick-fil-A sandwich. Tailgating will start at 2:30 p.m.
