Defending league champ Dixie State is now 6-3 on the season and 3-1 in the Pacific West Conference. PLNU dropped to 2-6 on the season and to 0-2 in the PacWest.
Welfringer scored his career-high 22 points in just 22 minutes off the bench, in just his second game after missing the first six games with an injury. He went 8-of-13 from the field and 5-of-7 from 3-point range. He also added two steals and three assists.
