A look at the Sea LionsThe Sea Lions are 3-3-1 on the season and 2-1-0 on PacWest play. PLNU earned a pair of wins last week to even their record at .500 on the season. Point Loma started with a 2-0 shutout of Azusa Pacific, in the school's first-ever outdoor contest under the lights, on Thursday and then defeated California Baptist 3-0 on Saturday.
Manu Montal was a key for the Sea Lions in both victories. He posted three of the team's five goals, including both in the win over APU. He now leads the team with four goals on the season.
Nico Tagaloa, notched a goal against CBU, and is second on the team with three goals.

Daniel ten Bosch are leading the team with two assists apiece.
Michael Lambert has started five matches in goal for the Sea Lions, and posted three shutouts. He has an .800 save percentage and 12 saves. He currently has a streak of 199 minutes without allowing a goal.
A look at the SharksThe Hawaii Pacific men's soccer team is undefeated in their last five contests. That run has moved its record to 4-2-1 on the season and to 2-0-1 in the PacWest. This will be their first match away from home.
HPU is second in the PacWest with 16 goals in seven matches. Midfielder Divin Fula Lazolo leads the team with three goals. Nine other student-athletes have also netted goals for the Sharks. As a team, the Sharks have a .500 shots on goal percentage and have allowed just two goals during their unbeaten streak.
Goalkeeper Eduardo Palacios has a .818 save percentage on the season and is on a three-game shutout streak. Combined, HPU's two keepers have let in six goals in seven matches.
A look at the SunbirdsFresno Pacific was picked as the PacWest favorite in the preseason coaches' poll. The Sunbirds are 6-1-2 this season and 3-0-1 in PacWest play. They are tied for first place in the PacWest standings with Dixie State. FPU is unbeaten in its last seven contests. Its only loss of the season came to Sonoma State (0-1) in the second match of the season.
Jorge Chedraui leads FPU with eight goals. Renato Bustamante follows closely behind Chedraui with five goals of his own and a team-leading six assists. Five other student-athletes have goals this season for the Sunbirds.
Goalkeeper Andrew Luis has a .800 save percentage with 24 saves on the season. He has posted two shutouts and allowed just six goals.
Next weekPoint Loma will host Chaminade on Monday, Oct. 12 at 3:30 p.m., and then travel to Concordia (Calif.) on Saturday, Oct. 17 for a 1:30 p.m. contest.
