SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - The Point Loma and Dominican (CA) soccer teams battled to a 0-0 tie on Thursday, Nov. 5 in a PacWest Conference contest.
The Sea Lions (8-5-3, 7-3-2 PacWest) are now unbeaten in their last three contests. They are fourth in the PacWest standings with 23 points. Dominican is now 2-9-1 in PacWest play (2-14-1 overall).
The game was played even on both sides. PLNU had the 18-11 advantage in shots, and 7-4 edge in shots on goal but DUC had more corner kicks (4-2).
Michael Lambert had four saves to preserve the shutout for the Sea Lions. He has five shutouts in 10 starts this season. The four saves matched a career-high. Oscar O'Con had seven saves for the Penguins.
Point Loma will close out its regular season at Holy Names on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m.
