SAN DIEGO - One day after the No. 1 team in the country came to Point Loma, the Sea Lions welcomed in No. 2 Hawaii Pacific. The Sea Lions actually fared better against the No. 1 team, as PLNU dropped Thursday's match against HPU 9-0.
Hawaii Pacific remained perfect on the season at 8-0 as No. 42 PLNU fell to 6-7 as it played its third match in three days.
Andre Staab had his six-match winning streak snapped as he lost at No. 1 singles for the first time this month falling 6-3 and 6-3.
Point Loma will take a little break before welcoming in Amherst on Monday, Mar. 16 at 2:00 p.m.
