SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma men's tennis team made quick work of Hawaii Hilo on Tuesday, Mar. 31 as the Sea Lions swept the Vulcans, 9-0.
 
The victory evened the Sea Lions' season record at 9-9 and dropped Hawaii Hilo to 3-19.
 
All six of the Sea Lions' singles victories came via the sweep, with no one ever losing more than four games in a set. James Tenbroeck and Grant Alston were pushed at No. 3 doubles as they tried to ensure the sweep for PLNU but they were able to prevail in a tiebreaker 9-7.
 
Point Loma's next match will be Wednesday, Apr. 8 against Westmont at 2:00 p.m.
