OAKLAND - For the second time in 10 days the Point Loma and Holy Names men's tennis team met up and in PacWest Conference matchup, and once again it was the home team picking up the victory. The Hawks edged the Sea Lions 5-4 on Saturday, Mar. 7.

The loss evened PLNU's season record at 5-5 on the season as Holy Names improved to 2-4.

The two teams opened the match splitting singles to bring it down once again to the critical doubles points in which HNU was able to win 2-1 to edge the Sea Lions in the match 5-4.

The Sea Lions earned singles wins at No. 1s with
Andre Staab (6-3 & 6-3), at No. 5s with
CJ Erion (6-0 & 6-2) and at No. 6s with Jack Erion (5-7, 6-3 & 11-9). Staab would also pair up with
Daniel Milliken at No. 1 doubles to win 9-8 for the Sea Lions' only point in doubles.
