HONOLULU - The Point Loma volleyball team could not snap the winning streak of Hawaii Pacific, falling in four sets 25-19, 25-20, 24-26 and 25-15, on Monday, Oct. 24.
The Sharks (14-7, 10-2 PacWest) have now won six straight matches to climb into third place in the PacWest standings. Even with the loss, PLNU remains in sixth place in the standings at 6-6 (8-13 overall).
Samantha Krakower had 12 kills and matched a career-high with eight blocks. She hit .370 in the match with just two errors.
Brianna Sizemore added 15 kills and four blocks.
Cara Keturakis also had 36 assists and
Christin Fisher again paced the team with 17 digs.
The Sharks were paced by 19 kills and 21 digs from Pomai Recca. Perla Escobar also added 15 kills and Alison McCollum chipped in with 11 kills. Mahea Pescaia and Sierra Dawson posted 28 and 35 assists, respectively.
Point Loma will return home from its three-game Hawaii road trip to host Fresno Pacific on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 5 p.m.
