IRVINE, Calif. - The Point Loma volleyball team could not slow down PacWest leading Concordia on the road and fell to the Eagles 25-21, 25-15 and 25-15 on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

With the win, Concordia remained atop the PacWest standings with a 22-2 record (13-2 PacWest). PLNU dropped to 8-15 and 6-10 in the PacWest.

Concordia used a .273 hitting percentage to win the match. The Eagles hit over .317 in each of the first two sets to jump out to the early lead, and the Sea Lions could not catch up.

Rachel Flynn led the Eagles with 14 kills. She was the only student-athlete on either team in double-figures.
Brianna Sizemore paced PLNU with nine kills.
Alyssa Rifilato added seven kills with just one error to lead the team with a .353 hitting percentage.

Point Loma will return home to host Academy of Art on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m.Â
