CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Point Loma men's tennis team dropped a match to the No. 1 team in NCAA Division III, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 9-0 on Saturday, Feb. 27.
 
The match was closer than the final score indicates. PLNU (2-7) battled CMS (4-0) in doubles on courts 1 and 2 but lost each 8-6. In singles, Martin Blaho and Daniel Milliken each pushed their opponent into a third set after coming back to win the second set, but the Stags prevailed in all six singles.
 
Point Loma will return to the court on Monday, Feb. 29 when it hosts Hawaii Pacific at 2:00 p.m.
