SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma volleyball team dropped the nightcap of the Seaside Invitational on Friday, Sept. 2 to Cal State Dominguez Hills, 33-31, 30-28 and 25-21.

The Sea Lions (0-2) are still looking for their first win of the season while CSUDH evened their record at 1-1.

Brianna Sizemore set a career-high with 12 kills in the loss.
Ashlynn Fresques also set a career-best with 10 kills.
Cara Keturakis recorded her first career double-double with 36 assists and 10 digs.
Christin Fisher paced everyone with 19 digs.

Errors were the difference in this close match which saw two of the sets go to extra points. The Sea Lions had 36 hitting errors (46 overall) compared just 23 (36 overall) for the Toros. This led to CSUDH outhitting PLNU .109 to .052.

PLNU will be back on the court for a pair of matches on Saturday to close out the Seaside Invitational. The Sea Lions will face Western New Mexico at 1:00 p.m. and Saginaw Valley State University at 8:00 p.m.Â
