Point Loma falls to WNMU at Seaside Invitational

SAN DIEGO - Point Loma dropped its third match of the 2016 Seaside Invitational to Western New Mexico, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-18 on Saturday, Sept. 3.
 
Brianna Sizemore set a career-high with 17 kills and .419 hitting percentage in the loss. Setter Cara Keturakis added five kills with no errors and a match-best 28 assists.
 
The Mustangs' offense was too much for the Sea Lions in this match. WNMU hit .342 and made just 19 errors in the match. Heather Verrill paced the squad with 13 kills with only one error for a .706 hitting percentage.
 
PLNU faces Saginaw Valley State tonight at 8:00 p.m. to close out the 2016 Seaside Invitational.
