LOS ANGELES - Keyran Kelly's equalizing goal in the 65th minute was enough for the Point Loma men's soccer team to earn a tie 1-1 at Cal State LA on Saturday, Sept. 3.
 
Kelly notched his first career goal on a great cross by Mitch Wheelon. He found Kelly open on the right side of the net to erase the Golden Eagles' lead and make it a whole new ballgame.
 
The teams battled for the next 45 minutes, which included two overtime periods, but neither broke the score and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
 
Michael Lambert had three saves in the match and Nico Tagaloa had three of the Sea Lions' seven shots. Dan Arnoll had one save for CSULA.
 
PLNU's next match will be Thursday, Sept 8 when it hosts Chico State at 4:30 p.m.
