Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Sea Lions and Cougars end game in scoreless tie

SAN DIEGO - The women's soccer match between Point Loma and Cal State San Marcos ended in a 0-0 tie as neither team could find the back of the net in the allotted 110 minutes before the match was called a draw.
 
Point Loma is now 1-0-1 on the season and CSUSM is 0-0-2.
 
Neither team could penetrate the others defenses as the team combined for just one shot on goal and 11 shots total. PLNU's Ariel Oriarte had the only save of the match.
 
The Sea Lions next match will be on Tuesday, Sept. 6 when they host local rival UC San Diego at 4:30 p.m.
