Abbey Teagle registered the Sea Lions' first hat-trick in the decade and the Point Loma women's soccer team matched its highest scoring output of the season to defeat Holy Names, 4-0, on Thursday, Nov. 2.

Teagle scored all three of her goals in a 10-minute stretch in the first half to double her season total.
Easton Kawawaki put the first goal on the board for the Sea Lions in the 12th minute. Later in the half, Teagle added goals in the 32nd, 41st and 42nd minutes to essentially seal the victory.

PacWest Implications
The win lifted PLNU into seventh place in the PacWest standings with 21 points. Point Loma could still finish as high as fourth in the standings with some help and a victory on Saturday. Holy Names remains with just one point on the season and in 14th place in the PacWest.

The Turning Point
The scoring onslaught by Teagle during that 10-minute stretch in the first half sealed the match. It took the match from a 1-0 Sea Lions' lead to a 4-0 advantage.
