SAN DIEGO - The No. 22 Point Loma men's tennis team found itself in a tough spot after losing all three doubles matches, it was unable to comeback against NO. 24 Western New Mexico and fell 6-3 on Friday, Feb. 24.
 
The result moved WNMU to 4-1 on the season and kept the Sea Lions winless (0-6).
 
PLNU did earn points in singles from its No. 1 and No. 2 spots with Brendon Millington and CJ Erion, respectively. Erion won in straight sets, 6-4 and 6-4, while Millington grinded out a three-set, tiebreaking victory, 6-2, 2-6 and 10-3. Tim Soderman added the third point for the Sea Lions at No. 5 singles with a 6-2 and 6-4 victory.
 
Point Loma will be right back on the courts tomorrow (Feb. 25) to face Sonoma State at 11 a.m.
