SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma men's tennis team went ahead after doubles against BYU-Hawaii but were unable to get that decisive fifth point and fell 5-4 on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
 
Brendon Millington and Jesse Miritello each accounted for a pair of the Sea Lions' four points. First he teamed with Yuki Okamoto at No. 2 doubles to earn a 9-8 win which came with a 12-10 tiebreaker. Millington also improved to 3-0 at No. 1 singles as he won a three-set battle over Sterling Galli 4-6, 7-6 and 7-5.
 
Jesse Miritello teamed with CJ Erion to provide another point for PLNU in doubles with an 8-3 win at No. 1s. He also earned a straight set victory in the No. 6 singles spot (6-4, 6-3).
 
The Sea Lions will be in for a tough test in their next match as they host the No. 1 team in the country, Hawaii Pacific, on Friday, Mar. 3 at 1 p.m.
