SAN DIEGO - Jack Alston had a nice day on the courts. He collected the Point Loma men's tennis team's lone singles win and paired with Brendon Millington to win at No. 1 doubles, however those would be the only two points the Sea Lions collected as they fell to Hawaii Hilo, 7-2.
 
Hawaii Hilo is now 10-11 on the season. PLNU drops to 4-14.
 
Alston has now won three of this last four singles matches. Today he defeated Gregory Zukeran in straight sets 7-6, 6-4. In doubles, he and Millington made quick work of Vaclav Slezak and Stefan Coney on court 1, winning 8-1.
 
The other five singles matches and two doubles matches all went the way of the Vulcans. Both Tim Soderman on court 4 and Jesse Miritello on court 6 went to three sets but fell.
 
Point Loma will be back on the courts on Friday, Apr. 7 at UC San Diego. The match will start at 3 p.m.
