SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Sea Lions went on the road to face Westmont this weekend and came away with a victory after holding on to a 1-0 lead after an early goal. Coach Wolf and his team would face a familiar foe as the Warriors are coached by Wolf's brother, Dave.
The first fifteen minutes of action were dominated by the Warriors as they had two shots on goal and two corner kicks before Point Loma could get off their first shot. That first shot would be all the Sea Lions needed as
Chris Reingen took a pass from
Eduardo Gallardo and found the back of the net. Goal keeper
Sean Williams had another nice game picking up his second career win in as many games with 4 saves to help shut down the Warriors attack.

The Turning Point
With the Warriors dominating possession and shots on goal it was the dagger goal from Reingen that changed the pace for PLNU. Williams was able to shut down the early attacks from Westmont and Gallardo delivered a great pass to set up the only goal of the game.
