HONOLULU - The Point Loma men's soccer team came back with three second-half goals to defeat Hawaii Pacific, 3-2. (Oct. 18)

HPU took the initial lead in the 17th minute before freshman
Teague Anderson provided the equalizer in the 53rd minute. The Sharks retook the lead in the 70th minute on an unassisted goal by Isac Mansoon, but that lead was short-lived as just 13 seconds later
Tim Siegfried evened the match once again with a penalty kick. He is now a perfect six-for-six on penalty kicks this season.

Parker Scalzo provided the game-winner in the 86th minute. Off a corner kick from
Tim Siegfried, Scalzo was able to head the ball into the net for the score.

Point Loma was outshot in the match 15-12, however PLNU doubled up HPU's shots on goals (10-5) to earn the victory.
Wiktor Lasota made two saves and his teammates saved another in the victory. Max Austli had seven saves for HPU.

The win moves PLNU into second place in the PacWest with 15 points. They lead FPU and Biola who are both tied with 12 points, however, PLNU has played one more contest. All three teams trail Azusa Pacific which leads the PacWest standings with a perfect 6-0-0 conference mark and 18 points.
