SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma men's soccer team bid farewell to its seven seniors with a ceremony prior to its match with Biola. At that time the scoreboard read 0-0, and after 110 minutes of play the score remained the same as PLNU and BU settled for a tie in the final home match of the season for the Sea Lions. (Oct. 29)
The senior
Wiktor Lasota played a great game in goal to keep the Eagles off the scoreboard. He made three fantastic stops on great looks for BU. He finished with six saves for the match. His counterpart, Luis Rodriguez, had three saves, including two early in the match on quality shots by
Tim Siegfried.
When the clock hit 0:00, Point Loma outshot Biola 13-11, but the Eagles had more shots on goal (6-3).

The tie gives PLNU one more point in the standings. They currently sit in third with 20 points. Fresno Pacific has played one less match, and is currently one point up on PLNU for second place.
