SAN DIEGO - On Saturday, Azusa Pacific showed the Point Loma fans what the top team in the West Region looks like. The Cougars came to PLNU and scored two goals in the third minute to earn a 3-0 win over the Sea Lions in a non-conference match.

The two goals came within just 55 seconds of each other. The first was a long pass in which Gregoire Diep was able to beat the PLNU defense. The next came just moments later when Arturo Astorga was able to chip the keeper and put the ball in an open net. The third and final goal came in the 19th minute on a penalty kick from freshman Gabriel Costa, who also assisted on the second goal.
