SAN DIEGO - After getting a win over a DIII opponent on Monday, the Sea Lions welcomed an NAIA team, Arizona Christian, on Wednesday evening. The teams pushed the match to yesterday evening in an attempt to avoid the rain that hit San Diego today and due to the late nature of the match the teams played to clinch. 

Point Loma has struggled to find consistency in their doubles play this season and yesterday's match was no different. After doubles play, the Sea Lions trailed the Firestorm 2-1. Arizona Christian would record the first win of the match, taking the No. 2 doubles match, 8-5. CJ Erion and Jack Alston won the only doubles match for PLNU with an 8-5 victory over Enzo Doulliac and former Sea Lion, Jesse Miritello. The Firestorm claimed the last doubles match and PLNU would need four wins in singles to earn the win. 

Point Loma took four straight matches in singles to clinch the match, 5-2. Thomas Dafcik grabbed the first win for the Sea Lions, 6-3, 6-1, to even the match at 2-2 and help give the team the momentum needed to earn the win. CJ Erion won his match at No. 3 singles over Miritello, 6-3, 6-3, and gave the Sea Lions the 3-2 lead. Tim Soderman and Brendon Millington would win their matches on courts six and two, respectively, to grab the last two points to seal the win for PLNU. Millington earned the match-clinching point at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-4.

> After starting 6-0 on the season, the doubles team of Okamoto and Dafcik have dropped their last two matches.
