PacWest Implications
The win moves PLNU into a tie with Hawaii Hilo and Hawaii Pacific for third place in the PacWest standings. Chaminade (8-0) and Azusa Pacific (7-0) are in first and second, respectively. The loss drops Dominican to the bottom of the PacWest.

Words from coach Jonathan Scott
On the match: "Getting a sweep on the road is always huge. Going 3-0 is exactly what we wanted, and we are glad that we were able to accomplish that goal."

On the early slate of PacWest road games: "This was kind of a scary schedule with so many road matches early on. But we had a very tough preseason, with half of those matches also being on the road. We also have a very young team on the court, so most don't know the difference between home and away yet."

On Torina Hommes' development: "She is an athlete. There is a lot of physicality and athleticism there. She is nowhere near where she is going to be. It has been fun."
