PacWest Implications
The win helps PLNU keep pace with Biola (4-0-0 PacWest) atop the PacWest standings. The Sea Lions currently have the most points in the conference (13); however, Biola will have the chance to retake the lead when they play tomorrow at Hawaii Hilo. PLNU will face Biola in PacWest play on Nov. 13 in La Mirada. The loss keeps Fresno Pacific at five points and tied for sixth place in the PacWest standings.

Words from Coach Kiely
On the opportunity to play everyone: "We are thankful to get everyone into the game, get them minutes and get them looks. We are happy that we could get them opportunities to do well or make mistakes and learn from them. It was a good match in that regard."

On getting the wide margin of victory: "We talked about connecting passes and winning a few tackles early to set the tone. It was nice for the efforts of good defending and good ball movement to be rewarded by finishing early. I love all the contributions from so many different people. I thought we did a very good job in that regard. I enjoyed a lot of different performances tonight."

On completing the clean sheet: "Our backs have had a lot of work to do this fall, so we were glad to get a shutout. I thought both keepers did well to help with the save. Both had great distribution, and the backline took care of business."

On upcoming home matches: "We will have four matches in nine days, so that is not easy. We are talking about the matches one at a time, so we appreciate this win on a long drive home. We will then start preparing to host Chaminade on Monday. The matches are nice because they are at home, but we want to take care of them one game at a time."
