Words from coach Lisa Faulkner
On the defense: "We did a good job from the beginning of the game of being in the right spots and defending how we defend. It is the process for us of getting better every game. We did make a few mistakes but to hold a team to 35 points is a very solid defensive effort so I am proud of that."

On the team effort on the offensive end: "Because we handled business defensively everyone was able to play significant minutes and have opportunities to score. All around it was a good team effort."

On the team: "I am proud of our progress and glad we started conference play out at 2-0. Now we get to come home and hopefully take care of business on our home court."
