Wheeler's Words
On the dominant double performance: "The ladies played really well today in doubles. #1 and #2 doubles did a great job of getting strong wins and clinching the doubles point. #3 doubles won a hard fought tiebreak set where they trailed for most of it. Even with the point clinched Nicole and Taylor stayed focused and competed the sweep."
On the early clinch and tough singles competition: "CSU Stanislaus played really tough in singles today. Our 4-6 singles spots did a tremendous job of clinching the overall match early with strong wins at all of those spots. 1-3 singles all lost close, competitive matches but I was happy with their fight even though the team match was already decided."
On preparing to face UCSD next week: "We have an important match next week against UCSD where we will need to play a little more patient and disciplined in singles against a veteran UCSD Women's team."
