Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

THREE 13-0 RUNS PROPEL #19 PLNU TO PACWEST WIN

SAN DIEGO - A 13-0 run to start the game put all the momentum on the No. 19 Sea Lions' side and they cruised to a 94-73 victory in their PacWest opener over Concordia.

Five student-athletes scored in double-figures for the Point Loma men's basketball team led by Kaden Anderson's second straight double-double. He posted 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting and pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds. Brock Mackenzie registered 16 points in the game. He and Anderson combined for all 13 points during the run to start the game.

Josh Caston came off the bench to score 10 of his 16 points in the first half as the Sea Lions went in front 46-32 at the half. Noah Stapes just missed a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Myles Franklin added 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting and also dished out a game-high five assists.

The Sea Lions immediately built on their 14-point halftime advantage with another 13-0 run in the first four minutes of the second half to push their lead to 28 points (66-38). They would lead by as many as 33 points, and the game was never in doubt the rest of the way.
