"Honestly, I thought we played at the same level in set one." Point Loma Head Coach
Jonathan Scott said. "We just let them go on that long stretch there and they stole it from us."
From there, it was the some of the most aggressive volleyball of the season for the Sea Lions.
Bailey Williams and
Grace Hicks each had five kills in the set and Point Loma jumped out to a 15-9 lead before Concordia's first timeout. Williams would eventually put the set away at 25-21, evening the match.

Duane was at it again with key moments and three kills down the stretch in the fourth set, helping Point Loma to a 25-22 set and match victory. Smith and Hicks each added three kills in the set.
"That was about as balanced as I've seen with a good offensive performance." Scott said. "That was pretty cool to be apart of. Both setters did a good job of moving the ball around."
Duane finished with a career high 10 kills.
"Tate was the hero of the night." Scott added. "Its hard to put into words for somebody like her. Everybody loves Tater."
Courtney Dyer delivered a match-high 32 digs, putting her at 636 this season. She currently has the third most digs in a single season in school history and is 38 away from 2
nd place and 44 away from the record.
Dyer is also currently fifth all time in digs for a career in Point Loma History with 1688.
"Courtney has had the single best defensive season I've ever witnessed in college coaching." Scott praised his libero. "She's been a joke back there. And if we didn't have to cancel last week's match, she would be setting national records. She's still pretty darn close to it and that's impressive."
Point Loma has one more match remaining when they head to La Mirada to take on Biola Saturday.
