LA MIRADA, Calif. – Junior
Corey Lundeen scored the lone goal to help the Point Loma men's soccer team prevail over Biola 1-0 (Feb. 24).
After an aggressive first half by both teams, the Lundeen goal came 45 seconds into the second half, After a
Parker Scalzo shot that was saved, Lundeen headed the rebound to the center of the net and beat two defenders standing on the goal line protecting the goal.
The one goal was all PLNU needed to get their fourth victory of the season and stay a perfect 4-0. The Sea Lion defense allowed just two shots on goal in the second half and were able to block two other shots helping PLNU to their second shutout this season.
